This code establishes the fundamental rules that members must follow to protect the reputation of ASAI and its members while contributing to trust and the development of artificial intelligence.
Fundamental Principles
- Protection of the Association’s and Members’ Reputation
Members must act in a manner that does not harm the reputation of ASAI or other members through their activities, statements, or decisions. The name or designation of another member may only be used with that member’s prior consent.
- Respect and Non-Discrimination
Every member respects the principles of equal treatment and rejects any form of discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, health status, or other characteristics.
- Ethics and Transparency
Members commit to acting with integrity and transparency. Any form of corruption, unethical behavior, or conflict of interest is unacceptable.
- Independence from Political Activities
ASAI strictly maintains its apolitical nature. Members must not engage in political activities, support specific political parties or movements, or imply such support on behalf of ASAI or other members.
- Responsible Handling of Information
Confidential or sensitive information must not be disclosed in a way that could harm ASAI or its members.
- Privacy and Data Protection
Members place great importance on the protection of privacy and personal data.
- Compliance with Legal Regulations
Members act in accordance with applicable legal regulations and ensure that their activities do not jeopardize ASAI or its members.
- Promotion of Cooperation and Openness
Members actively collaborate with the broader community and contribute to knowledge-sharing that supports the development of AI and ASAI.
- Accountability for Actions
Members take full responsibility for their actions and ensure that their activities align with ASAI’s principles.
This code serves as a fundamental guideline for ASAI members, and adherence to it is a condition of membership in the association.
